Cover Explorations · Mandat SP SCI · Q1 2026

Four covers, each riffing on a different Alderan motif.

The Alderan BTI uses four cosmic motifs: the astronaut on lunar surface, the comet as namesake, the planetary horizon, and the deep cosmic field. Each cover below adopts one as its anchor, layered under GCCP gold-standard chrome — Fraunces + Inter + JetBrains Mono · navy + cream + cosmic teal + nebula warm. Pick one (or a hybrid) and we'll port it into the full dashboard.

Lunar Vista v 1
Closest to Alderan's BTI banner. Astronaut silhouette on a lunar terrain foreground · distant planet rim curving up from the lower-right · comet streak in the upper sky. The astronaut is the figure motif and reads as exploration / discovery.
Open v1
Comet Tail v 2
The Comète is literally the visual hero. Twin-tail comet — ion tail (blue, straight) plus dust tail (warm, curved) — streaks from a bright nucleus upper-right down across the cover. No astronaut, no terrain. Most dynamic / movement-implying of the four.
Open v2
Planetary Approach v 3
Orbital perspective. Large planet curves up from the bottom, with a luminous atmospheric crescent highlighting its day-side rim. Title sits in the upper half above the horizon. A distant moon and far comet add depth. Reads as arrival / institutional reach.
Open v3
Deep Field v 4
The richest cosmic graphic. Full-cover nebula with multi-layer turbulence + rim lighting · distant spiral galaxy, globular cluster, small planet and far comet as deep-field objects · cardinal observation markers. Reads as institutional astronomy publication.
